Knowledge
What Qalion AI knows and the ways of working it follows, for you and for your project.
Where to find it
Open Materials → Knowledge. It has two tabs, Skills and Memory, each with a Personal and a Project scope. Owners, Admins and Testers can edit project knowledge.
Skills
A skill is a reusable set of instructions. Qalion AI uses a skill when your request matches it, and you can call one directly by typing / and its name.
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name | Up to 60 characters. It also gives the skill its /command. |
| Description | Up to 200 characters. Qalion AI reads it to decide when the skill fits a request. |
| When to use it | Up to 300 characters |
| Steps | The instructions, up to 8,000 characters |
| What it may do | Everything the composer allows, or Only these actions. A skill can narrow what Qalion AI may do, never widen it. |
Click New skill to write one, or let Qalion AI propose one on a Save a skill card. Try in a new chat tests it. Each list holds up to 30 skills.
Memory
Memory is what Qalion AI keeps in mind in every chat. It reads notes as facts and preferences, never as orders.
| Memory | Who it is for | How it is saved |
|---|---|---|
| Your memory | Only you, in every project | Qalion AI saves what you tell it and shows "Remembered:" |
| Project memory | Everyone on the project | From a chat, only after you approve an "Update the project's memory" card |
- Each memory holds up to 50 notes of 500 characters. Use Add a note, Edit note and Delete note to manage them by hand.
- Qalion AI only saves what you said. Text it reads in a ticket or a web page can't save itself to memory.
